Oh my gosh! The salamander is so tiny! Looks like you had a very pretty day. Turkey Tail mushrooms, sunshine, ferns.... Nice.
Lots of neat things in the woods to see-. I can't wait til the weather cools off some more so I can get back out in the woods here. Right now, if the chiggars and ticks didn't get me, the snakes would.
oh my such good shots.......I have stopped to devour the sight of light passing through leaves tooTruly a private moment....nice
Okay, LOVING this!!! Just sayin - you did an amazing job on all of these shots and what a fun place to explore.
Was it a tiny salamander??? It was BEAUTIFUL!
I researched the tiny salamander and found that it's a 'teenage' red spotted eft, a type of newt. I think the article I read is really interesting. You can find it here: http://www.adirondackalmanack.com/2009/05/red-efts-nifty-adirondack-salamanders.html
These shots are beautiful, beautiful, beautiful -- especially the mushrooms pics. You truly have an artist's eye. Thank you for sharing the beauty with us.
Like I said over at another blogger's site---i am jealous of the green, green everywhere, but thankful that you took me on your walk by sharing your pictures. :)
Wow, these photos are stunning!! I literally sat here dumbfounded just staring at them. Beautiful!
