New Roommates

The puppies have a couple of new roommates....

They're already dressing alike and sharing each others clothes....
(Elva is paranoid about collars, but we want to be able to tell them apart so they got crayons instead)

The puppies are happy about the new additions.

Generally, they are just plain happy.

And tired.  Tired puppies are good puppies.

In addition to their new Guard Dog duties, which they take terribly seriously, they have also been going on hikes with Elva several times each day and attempting to keep the Border Collies in line.

They love playing in the pond and a few of them have learned that, when they fall in, they can swim.

All this hard work is tiring.

It's just not easy being an alert guard dog.

Good thing they all have a lot of help.

Including a couple new additions to the pack.

  2. Awww! Love these! All white and beautiful, how on earth do they stay so clean? They do look as though they are taking their jobs seriously.
Going hiking to work on other skills is so good for them.
I was so happy to see this update!

  3. Too precious; your photos show them to be a rather laid back bunch - do photos lie? Do the colors identify the specific ones that have been "claimed?"

    1. All the puppies have been matched with their future owners. Next week, they get their first puppy shots, and next weekend, oh sad day, a few will go to their new homes. They will be nine weeks old at that time. However, thankfully, at least two will remain until June.

  5. Sounds like everything is going very well in "puppy land". They are all absolutely beautiful. If you're like me, it was so terribly hard to part with them when the time came. I was so very careful about who was going to have the honor of taking one of them home as a part of their family. Kudos Elva on doing a splendid job with these kids. Enjoy the two that will remain with you! So fun!
