Bad Omen

If the stripes on a Woolly Bear Caterpillar predict how bad the coming winter will be, what do you suppose this guy is trying to tell us?

    Omigosh Kris the wooly-bears are all mixed up this year....I saw one that was all black and now you have this one....what is this winter going to bring us???? Well I have seen two "normal" ones as well so that is what I am hoping for ....NORMAL!!!!! Diana

    I've seen all black ones here in Kansas, I have been wondering what THAT meant! That's the second gold one I've seen on a blog!

      I have no idea. I never can remember which stripes I am supposed to be measuring! I guess I'll just do what I always do...try my best to survive whatever winter brings:)
