A Whole New Look at Theoretical Physics

The donkeys and the Freaky Five have called a truce.  Although, it is probably more accurate to say that the donkeys have decided that the Freaky Five aren't worth wasting time on and the little freaks remain oblivious inside their bubble universe.  I think it is a little pocket dimension of altered space-time continuum that surrounds them wherever they go and allows them to live in a world all their own.  A whole new realm of theoretical physics brought to you by guinea hens.  Who'd a thunk?

Most of the time, you'd never know that the double F's even exist as they love to hide out in the tall weeds along the stone walls.  However, every day, without fail, they show up at their pen at 1:00 for food, water, loud conversation, and a half hour nap.  They show up again later in the day to make a circuit of the lawn and they always, always show up for their daily traffic-cone worship services.

Ahh, the never ending allure of traffic cones. Guineas are weird, very weird - amusing and interesting to have around, but still wierd.

I don't call them the Freaky Five for nothing.

  1. I like them. Freakiness is very fashionable, you know. Of course my guineas are not freaky. They are merely space aliens.

  4. Yay for hay (your previous post) and I agree those five are quite weird but as long as weird does their job - hey....a bit of variety! LOL

  6. Guineas are so hilarious. I wouldn't resist the temptation to put things in the yard for the guineas to discover :)

  8. They are quite endearing actually. I was never a fan of birds(chickens, parakeets, etc.) but these guys are so interesting to watch and they are eating the bugs....

  9. Their daily traffic cone worship services... cracked me up. I wonder if bugs are gathering there. And I hope the FFs really freak out your tick population (as in decimating - no, eradicating!) it.

  11. Our flock of guineas never ceased to amaze us. And sometimes we thought they were sort of smart, but their behavior quickly changed that...thought.
