One of my windbreak Spruce trees keeps insisting on falling over. I've tried for two years to keep it standing, but as soon as the ground gets wet and a little wind blows - tha're she goes.
In order to survive here on Hellwind Hill, everyone (especially the trees) has got to stand on their own feet (or roots). Seeing as how it is mid December and the height of the Christmas season, I did the only sensible thing there is to do with a recalcitrant Christmas tree....

I yanked that sucker up and fed it the donkeys.
Now that's what I call a well trimmed tree!
They were glad it kept falling over :)
