True Wealth

Hay in the barn, wood in the shed and healthy, happy beasties who always want to be with me.

  1. Very neatly stacked wood at that. Hay in the barn ... at the price it has been this year that is another accomplishment. The horses are beautiful and the donkeys adorable. Very wealthy indeed.

  2. Yes, that's true wealth, and you're so blessed! (So is little Ramsey!)

  3. o.k. here's a city girl's question: with the sides of the wood shed open, do you worry that the wood will get too wet to use? or do you use the wood in the middle first and restack into the empty space?

looks like you're ready for winter!

    1. I will cover the back portion of the shed (where Emma is) to keep snow from blowing in. All of the weather comes from that direction. The rest will stay open to maximize airflow. It allows the wood to dry better.

    2. Why aren't I living on a farm? That stacking job could be an Andy Goldsworthy sculpture.
