Just Ducky

Every spring a pair of Mallard ducks stop by for a rest stop on my pond. This year, they finally decided to stick around and raise some babies. I think it is because part of a tree fell into the pond and some shrubs have grown up around, providing more cover.

Mallards have always been my favorite.

The pond-otter likes to spend these hot, summer days hanging out with them.

    1. They just showed up. The ducks probably brought them along.
