Hired Help

Elva's new helper arrived at the farm this week....

He is already zoned in on Elva like a laser beam

He goes on hikes with the rest of the pack....

Helps build fence...

Has learned not to chase chickens...

He has conquered stairs and already climbs on the couch.

He has met the sheep and cows...

And that was all on his first day.

Welcome to the farm little Ian, we're all glad to have you.  Your new mom wanted LOTS of pictures so here they are

    1. Bess is very good to Ian. In fact, ALL the dogs have been great with him. Bess' son, Bruno, who frequently visits is exceptionally gentle, and Ian LOVES Connor! I, of course, run around saying "Be Careful!", as I am afraid they will run into him, but they are being very cautious! Kelsey is great, as always. Ian is fascinated when watching her work the sheep and cattle.

  8. What a handsome pup! What fun for all!! I can almost smell the puppy breath! Thank you for the encouraging words about Chance, thank Farm Buddy too please. Today he is on the upswing so we are keeping our fingers and toes crossed, but at almost 14 we know his time is limited. I recall the joy we had when he was a puppy and we spent all day playing:)

  12. We just came from Elvas farm and met little Ian. He still has a pink belly and little pink pads ! He follows Elva like he is on a string but he’s not. He’s as smart as a whip and sits and listens and watches He’s the most handsome little pup. Thank You Elva for introducing us. Also had the privilege to see the lambs and the llama. Kelsey kept us busy as well with frisbee in between the times she was disciplining the lambs. Bess stood guard over Ian. And the vegetables and corn will be on our table tonight! So good to spend time with Elva and her friends
