  4. Wow, what beautiful fungus. I didn't know it came in so many varieties. During "wet" years we do get mushrooms here, but not much variety. Do any of the wildlife eat the fungus?

  5. I love the plate-sized orange ones - I saw one of those while backpacking on Cumberland Island (Georgia). It's a National Seashore, so we had to make reservations well in advance and take a ferry to the island. That huge fungus fascinated me!
