Fungus Among Us

Every summer brings a new crop of fungi in the woods.  Some things, I see every year.   Others pop up once and I never find them again.  They range from beautiful to grotesque, from tiny to mammoth.  They are delicate, fragile and easily damaged, yet unstoppable in their persistence.  Here are some of what I've found so far this year.

  3. Wait, that last shot is not fungi! :) That plant I needed ID'd is called Indigo Plant!
What a beautiful bunch of fungi! I love looking for them too. That bright neon yellow sure was spectacular as was all of them.
Now I do wish I could identify more than just a couple.
