Emma turns five today. Hard to believe how much this one little donkey brought into my life when I brought her home to be a "safe, easy" companion for Tessa. Little did I know that she would sneak right past all my defenses. It's the unexpected treasures that always steal the heart.
Happy Birthday my sweet Emma girl. Thanks for teaching me about the joy of donkeys.
Such a pretty girl

ReplyDeleteShe has changed her coat many times, has she not? She is a beautiful little girl!
ReplyDeleteYeah, I get a "new" donkey every year:)
DeleteHappy Birthday, loveliest donkey lady! It amazes me still how Emma managed to have a baby when she herself was still such a fragile little thing, and what a great mom she was/is. Many, many healthy birthdays more to her!
ReplyDeleteYour blog is teaching me about donkey's! Happy Birthday to your sweet Girl. How old so donkey's get?
ReplyDeleteThe average is about 25-30 years, but well cared for donkeys have been known to live up top 50. I think the record holder was over 70!
DeleteHappy (belated) Birthday Emma. And many, many more!
