Three Years

July 1, 2012

It's hard to believe, but my little donkey baby is three years old today.

I sure can't pick him up and carry him around anymore!

Ramsey is 48 inches tall and weighs about 400 pounds.  He still seems like my little baby donkey though.  He has gotten awfully big, but he really hasn't changed a bit.



Such a handsome young man.

    Happy Birthday sweet sweet Ramsey! Ma, you must have been so happy the day that little fellow was born. Now I am all stirred up again and my heart aches for a donkey...just like Ramsey. What a sweet baby!

    If I recall properly, it takes a bit longer for donkeys to mature and to finish growing. I think I started to ride our littlest donkey, Nikki, when she was 5. Sadly she passed last year.
    I think Ramsey has the most incredible color. You are such a good donkey - keeper!
