To be fair, he came out looking clean. One of my dogs, many years ago, used to go galumping through the tidal mud flats near where I walked her. Now THAT was a swamp monster.

This may sound strange but I seriously love the smell of a wet dog. Unless of course they are wet from an icky sulpher pond. Those are cute pictures...what a good boy.
But he looks oh so happy! I have one of those that is heading for the bathtub this week - duck swamp black mud. Ew.
