Ramsey Goes to School

"Hey Ma, what ya got there?"

"Don't worry Em, it's just a rope and halter for Ramsey, I think it's time he start having some real lessons."

"I've been teaching him all sorts of lessons already though.  He has to learn how to be a proper donkey after all."

"I know Emma, you're doing a great job.  In fact, you should probably give parenting lessons, Lord knows you're doing better than a lot of people out there.  If everybody had a mom like you, the world would be a better place.  I just thought I'd help out with this halter stuff."

"Hmmm, well, let me give it a try....Here Ramsey, put this thing on...

"No no, you're supposed to wear this end and you give the other end to the human.  It makes her feel like she's in charge.  I know it's foolish, but it makes the silly humans happy.  Besides, we might get to go for walks in the woods with Mom again if you just play along and humor her"....

"So, what do you think Ma, will this work?...

"Hmmm, I think maybe you should let me help out here.  Opposable thumbs are quite handy for this sort of job...."

"There, that looks better doesn't it?..."

"Hmmmm, you know,,,I can kinda see where this might not be a bad idea after all"....

"PHOOEY!  THIS SCHOOL STUFF IS TOO MUCH LIKE WORK.  i NEED A DRINK!"
