Fitting In

  1. I'm very impressed! If that were here, my 33 year old would not dare to be with our other 3 horses in that space. She will, however, go in the indoor. You have a sweet herd!

  2. Well hello there Albert Einstein! You’ve managed to work your way into the herd very nicely, and because of you we get to read more exciting blog posts and see more pics!
You are a handsome guy (if still a bit wooly). You and Ramsey look related. It must be nice to have a family.
Is that Elva I hear in the background? Something about enough with the donkeys and “more Puppies”?

  3. Sweet. He has a worrysome look on his face. I have a cat that always looks like he is giving me the evil eye.

  4. Wow, everything looks so green and lush. I can somehow imagine how a donkey would put up with a face mask, but darned if I can imagine one putting up with their ears being stuffed into bags. Emma is the lucky one.

    1. No, the black flies are out in tremendous force right now and they LOVE donkey ears, they will chew them to bloody bits. Al's ears are already really chewed up and they go after Ramsey something awful so it was poor Emma who got elected to go without the ear protection. I have another mask on order. By tomorrow, they will all be sporting masks with ears, which they greatly appreciate:)

  5. They seem very congenial. I have memories of Vermont in May. BLACK FLIES,!,

I have really bad memories of May blackflies in Vermont. Truly a curse.
    REALLY bad.
The donkeys must be very grateful for the protection. They are all looking sweet.
