This is my driveway. Again. It is somewhere around -10*F with 30 mph wind, the snow on the drive is 30 inches deep so far. What do you think the chances are of my having it all cleared by the time I have to go to work?
Don't know about yours but our tractor doesn't even want to start in this cold. We can't get out outside faucet to work so we can fill the water tub. It is absolutely to much cold and snow for one year.
Too much, indeed. Ack! "Knee Deep in Sheep" posted a cool-but-frightful blizzard video yesterday, and I was hoping so much that you'd be spared. Sending you warm thoughts (yeah, right, like that will help...). Frustrating. I don't know that "live in the moment" is sound advice in this situation... Not for a human mind, I'm afraid... Can I send some "nerve food" (as we call chocolate) to tide you over? Wish I could send a new, perfectly functioning tractor!!
I'm really impressed together with your writing abilities and also with the format in your weblog. Is that this a paid topic or did you customize it your self? Anyway stay up the excellent high quality writing, it's uncommon to see a great blog like this one today..
So what happened? Do you have a tractor? It has been one heck of a winter.
ReplyDeleteHope you called in sick. This is ridiculous.
ReplyDeleteOh NO! With wicked winds and nothing to stop the snow it will be hard packed also.
ReplyDeleteAre you okay?
oh, my...
ReplyDeleteOh my god. It makes me want to go inside and hibernate.

ReplyDeleteJust stay home. The Lab can do without you for one day. Jesus, Kris. Can RB's husband help?
ReplyDeleteOh man. I just...can't think of anything that will help. Stay safe and try to stay warm. Keep your cell in your pocket.
ReplyDelete...not without a road grader!
ReplyDeleteWe have 8 degrees right now and it is noon already. Will stay home. Yes I will.
ReplyDeleteHave certainly been thinking of you - please stay safe (and warm).
ReplyDeleteUgh.
ReplyDeleteKris, and animals... I am so very sorry for you all!
ReplyDeleteUgh. Weather like this teaches you what Sisyphus went through. :-(
