So true , and great job with your orange fashion to be seen by hunters. We have to do this when we trail ride now, although I must admit I do still worry about a zinging color blind bullet from time to time ! lol
Great improvisation. Do they wear their safety vests all the time or just when you're walking in the woods? What I'm trying to say I suppose is are they at risk in their paddock?
Better safe then sorry, hope you were wearing blaze orange too. I wanted to thank you for sharing blogger sunshine, and gave you an award on my blog. Stop by & grab it if your into playing along.
It seems bizarre to me that you all have to take such precautions. In Oz we have pretty much no hunting except in remote areas and on farms. We never need to fear that stray bullet or dress in day-glo, and I like it like that.
Wish I could step into one of your pictures and walk through these woods with you all!

Aw, they look so cute in orange!
ReplyDeleteYou are sooo smart!
ReplyDeleteI always worried about the llamas in shooting season... even though we are on a ridge... you just never know! Good idea on the dog, too!

ReplyDeleteAbsolute necessity--yes! I would still worry about a ricochet from somewhere.
