This really was a challenge this week since finding anything green at the moment takes some imagination and effort. I also darned near froze to death this afternoon trying to take these. I ask you, does THIS look like Spring?
We had crazy, intermittent snow and sun all day. Often at the same time and the wind, oh the wind...
Great shots..:-)
ReplyDeleteI saw this and asked myself "Why is she posting this on Saturday?"
ReplyDeleteOops.
Thankfully I had a photo from earlier this week that was usable!
PS Your frostbite was worth it, great set.
ReplyDeleteImpressive, great that you found green in this winter's frozen wasteland. I was lazy and hit the archives. Great job!
ReplyDeleteIt may be wickedly cold and miserable out there, but my, the light is amazing at this time of year: when the sun actually comes out!!
ReplyDeleteI love sunday stills. Is this a blog thing and where do you get the challenge from? I just got a new camera and would love to do the challenge.

Sunday Stills is a weekly photo challenge that you can find here: http://sundaystills.wordpress.com/
DeleteGenerally, bloggers do the challenge, post their pictures and put a link to the blog post in the comment section of Sunday Stills so that everyone can check out what other people come up with. Anyone can join in at any time. It's been a great way to learn more about photography and has really made me think differently about how I take pictures.
You did a wonderful job finding green to photograph. I especially like the garden hose!
ReplyDeleteBrrrrrr!! I know you are ready for Spring!! :)

ReplyDeleteThe lighting is stunning. There is something special about the sunlight and storm clouds. It has a sort of warmth.
I was just out looking for spring. No snow. Not much green. Plenty of wind. Sunshine. LOTS of dust.
Stay warm. If you could snuggle between 2 donkeys in the sun.....
You got GREAT green shots :-D.
ReplyDeleteLoved the frist pic and the lighting is brilliant
ReplyDeleteOh, all I can say is "Brrrr". Makes me feel bad to tell u that here in the San Francisco Bay Area it's been around 70 the last several days. Don't think I could tolerate your frozen climate. Hope u have warmer days soon! I'm sure Ramsey & Emma would like to start working on their tans. ;-)
