It's that time of year. While lots of people are shopping and scrambling around trying to find that perfect present, I make fudge. Fortunately, everyone seems to love this stuff and they look forward to it all year. It's soooo much better then having to go shopping (shudder). Everybody gets fudge for Christmas or Hanukkah or whatever. This is generic Holiday fudge. If you happen to be one the rarities who does not like fudge...well, it's the thought that counts right?
I wanted to send some to all the good people who contributed to Ramsey's vet bills, however, I have a list of almost sixty such names. Making and shipping all that fudge would kind of defeat the purpose. So here is what I have come up with, I am going to randomly choose three names from that list and ship the winners some of my famous fudge.
In addition, I want to make sure everybody gets a chance to win so I am going to offer two more fudge prizes to randomly chosen comments. All you have to do to enter is leave a comment on this post. I will choose the winners some time this weekend so I will (hopefully) be able to mail out all the prizes on Monday. Does that seem fair? I hope so, it's the best I can come up with. Good luck and I hope you all like chocolate.
Ooooh! This sounds like such a sweet deal! :)
ReplyDeleteOh yumm. I love fudge. By the way thanks for the card. It made my day. :}
ReplyDeletePam
What I love most about fudge is the weight of the bricks : ) I need to get busy in the kitchen. How nice of you to make these for your donators.
ReplyDeleteI just received you thank you card with the precious picture of Ramsey. I thank YOU. Fudge sounds wonderful
ReplyDeleteIt looks fabulous, and what a nice thing to do!
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice thing to do! I'm not fond of fudge & mailing to Scotland would be exorbitant, so please don't include me in the draw. Good luck to everyone else :)
ReplyDeleteFudge would be a marvelous treat! Thanks for making it and giving away so many chances. (And what kind of weirdos don't like chocolate??)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea since chocolate makes everything better. Glad Ramsey is doing so well. Best wishes for the holidays and the New Year to everyone.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful thing to do! I hope Ramsey can choose the winners!
ReplyDeleteHappy Holidays to you and your farm!
Does Ramsey get to do the "taste test"? Just a wee little crumb? And you of course, for all the good care you've given him. You should have a little splash of wine too!
ReplyDeleteWow! First I notice a Christmas card in my mailbox from none other than the Dancing Donkey. Then I see that you are having a contest. You rock! The first RSS feed I used to read in the morning was always The Pioneer Woman's blog, then I got hooked on The 7MSN blog, and now it is The Dancing Donkey. Donkeys are just so dang cute. I happen to be critter/house sitting for my sister for a few days right now. She has a paint horse, a regular sized donkey (Daisy) and a miniature donkey (Mamie), along with 3 chickens. They are all a hoot! Merry Christmas!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for the card...it's a beautiful picture of Ramsey. I'm so glad he's feeling better! That fudge looks good!
ReplyDeleteThe video of the Mom and son eating from the hay bag was just so sweet. My Mom made great fudge....... Mine does not compare. Thank you for the opportunity to have a great piece of fudge. Nothing better!!!!
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas!
Hi Kris, it was such a pleasure to find your card in the mailbox today and also that it included a photo of the cutest baby donkey ever! His pic has now taken its place along side the ones of my menagerie on the fridge. Wouldn't mind sampling some of your famous fudge if I happen to be one of the lucky ones chosen. Wishing you and all your "furry kids" continued good health and happy holidays. Vicki ~
ReplyDeleteGood Morning Kris! Um, we LOVE chocolate.. :) Thank you so much for the card. My husabnd and I just stood at the kitchen counter and smiled at Ramsey's picture. We couldn't stop smiling. It made our day!! May you and your crew have a very Happy Holiday!
ReplyDeleteThe only thing better than a fudge post is a Ramsey post, thankfully we got both!
