I've just learned that another good friend just lost her husband - a good father, a good husband, a good man. Gone too soon.
It has robbed me of words. All the grief, the fires, floods, earthquakes, the massive hurricanes. All of it. What is there to say?
Hold tight to those you love.
Such a sad time for you with the losses. Things can go wrong so suddenly. Please take care of yourself.
ReplyDeleteWe need to appreciate every single day.
ReplyDeleteGood words to live by. The older we get, the more we see and feel the inevitable. I am so sorry you have experienced another loss. The horrendous natural disasters are overwhelming. I can't even imagine. Wildfires, hurricanes, bombings, murders etc, they have always occured. The magnitude and quantity of them has certainly increased, for many reasons. The overwhelming non-stop bad news can be attributed to social media. It's a good/bad thing. Sometimes it's best to take a break and unplug. Know that you are not alone with your feelings. Focus on the good in life, and like you said - hold tight to those you love. It's a powerful thing.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry for your friend.
