Black Widow?
No, they don't live around here. This is a pale yellow spider and I only ever find them in the woods living in rotting logs. I only ever find one or two a year, they seem rare.

I think that is a neat spider and web you found. I think they are pretty cool. Sorry, I do like spiders, better if I can find them and watch them!
