That Time of Year

It's that time of year...when I go even farther out of my way to avoid shopping, don't listen to the radio and try to engulf myself in a haze of holiday denial.  Since it never really works, I also make fudge, my one and only claim to culinary fame.  It's whats for Christmas.

I'd love to send some to all of you out there in blog-land, but I can't quite manage that.  Instead, leave a comment on this post and on Friday, I'll pick three lucky winners. We'll see if Mary Ann can go for three years in a row...

And don't forget, if anyone would like a calender this year, you can get them by clicking on the link below:

  1. I would love to win some of your fudge, but it would make me smile if Mary Ann won some for three years in a row!

  2. YUM fudge! I like it.
I have no culinary specialty except maybe lasagna!
And this reminds me, I best get the kids' calendars done! Eeeks!

  3. This fudge is chocolate decadence. I received a batch of this deliciousness last year. It is another blog reader's turn for a surprise batch of fudge -- I only want to wish Kris and everyone a Merry Christmas and best wishes for a healthy and peaceful New Year.

  5. How generous of you. I, too, love fudge. My mom used to make it every year, but I do not. Just yesterday when I was cleaning my pantry and found a jar of marshmallow creme from last Christmas the thought crossed my mind to make some. Mom's recipe calls for the marshmallow creme. I obviously didn't make any with it last year. There's always next year. I'll have to check the expiration date. How long does this stuff last?

  9. After 7 years, I just realized there is no fudge in Germany. Now I'm craving it. I'd make it, but I don't think there's corn syrup in Germany either: (
