For all my readers who have been with me from the start; through Ramsey's birth, his surgery and two week stay at Cornell. Through all the looong months of rehab after. Through two bouts of Lyme disease. Through Ben's canker, Cushing's and his fight with tick borne disease and the laminitis it caused. Through all of Ramsey's jealous sulks over having his world invaded by a new donkey....
I hope this little video makes you as happy as it makes me. Thanks for sticking with us through all the tough times so we can enjoy the moment of pure fun.
You have taken your herd through ups and downs and this is frosting on the cake. Kudos to you for your knowledge and ability to accomplish this. So sweet.
OMG! Don’t tell Elva but this is better than puppies! Success! Love Uncle Ben and how Ramsey keeps up the game after he snags the toy.. just loved watching it again and again. Yay!!
SO CHARMING. Ben is so much bigger, I never realized until now how much bigger, but Ramsey is hanging in there. Both clearly playing. I love the ears. Its all about those fabulous ears. Happy Easter everyone.
They're acting like a couple of "Bro's" - - sweet! Nice to see the evolution take place to where they can play with each other. More fun to come I'm sure. :-)
This is what it's all about...you work so hard at caring for them and going through all the health problems...then you see these two big babies playing and tugging away at a toy--as if it's the only toy in town. Result? All that love you've poured into them both is radiating out of that pasture as they both play and play. I love this. I love donks. May all of you stay healthy and happy so you can continue to enjoy life together. I send my best wishes to you, always. Barb G
A couple of April Fools indulging in spring time frolics! I wish my 21 year old Jennet's played like that. Happy Easter and April Fools Day! Kris, thanks so much for all of the delightful stories that hit my inbox periodically, often providing light relief from a busy or stressful work day.
Happy and smiling.
ReplyDeleteTHat is adorable. I bet they are working on maneuvers to remove the grazing muzzles. 😁
ReplyDeleteLooks like the boys have made their peace; at least long enough to have a rollicking round of keep-a-way.
ReplyDeleteSublime! :D

ReplyDeleteI'm going to try to sneak my response under yours in hopes Elva won't see my agreement ;-D.
DeleteOh please, give me a break!!!!!!! Those two don't even come close to the puppies! Open your eyes!
DeleteHappy Donkeys! I didn't realize there was such a size difference. So cute, thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteLove it!
ReplyDeleteJust so FUN! Glad the boys are buddies now. Wish I could find that toy - I don't think it is available anymore ...?
ReplyDeleteYou can find it on Amazon, I'll try to find the link again. This might work too:
