Sunday Stills - Big Sky

The world has been singularly grey and dark here the last sew weeks, making picture taking nearly impossible.  Then yesterday, when I was ready to once again give up on Sunday Stills, the sky put on quite a show.

I tried to get one of those artsy, dramatic silhouette shots too, but my subject had a most terrible need for a hug instead.  Who am I, to argue with that?

  10. Excellent pics! Isn't it great to see real color when everything is shades of white, gray and brown? Perfect timing and a hug for the reward. Couldn't be better.

  13. It looks like the conditions were made to order for you to be able to get these beautiful shots! I have the same problem when trying to take photos when my horses are around loose, "please love on me"!!

  15. I love it when everything turns a soft shade of golden, it's my favorite time of day. It rarely happens in the winter, so yesterday's show was a delightful surprise! I was in the barn when I saw it, and was wishing my cell camera could capture the moment, but at least I was fortunate enough to witness the beauty in person. Beautiful photos, Kris, and thanks for sharing! Cute hug-monster, too :)
