In the Spring, I'll add more mulch to the top. I want to plant something like wild day lilies that will spread, choke out weeds and fill in the whole space. I want LOW maintenance:)The Dancing Donkeyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16274299120708749101noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1432762024762532275.post-41420667936715304742014-10-18T08:38:16.194-04:002014-10-18T08:38:16.194-04:00Turkeys can make a mess of things, we used to let ...Turkeys can make a mess of things, we used to let out turkeys and hens out of their fenced area in the fall so they could clean up the garden mess.
I see a lot of crop damage locally from them too.
But I always enjoy seeing a mom and her brood! Funny thing is, my dogs will chase a turkey but won't bother my hens...Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00189754509071350499noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1432762024762532275.post-84501603369832333152014-10-17T13:49:43.491-04:002014-10-17T13:49:43.491-04:00I'm confused. I hear them in the morning, but they stay well away from the house.
I looked very closely at your little brood and I don't see one "beard" among them. I wonder if she hatched a group of mostly hens?
Love your flower bed idea!!Carlahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14685492126157550044noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1432762024762532275.post-19698213704206520892014-10-17T08:07:25.765-04:002014-10-17T08:07:25.765-04:00You always have an interesting project going.
