I've learned to just try to move out of their way before it occurs to them :)
Btw, I think you're a natural when it comes to training! He will kick out as he passes. It only happens when he is really wound up and it happens so fast it is hard to discipline. He has never actually connected (he isn't really trying to, it's a play thing, but I'd like to stop it). Any suggestions? It's more like trying not to laugh too much at some of the things they come up with. :-)
Have you gotten past the kicking stage yet?Mel N.Y.https://www.blogger.com/profile/05416268008109210976noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1432762024762532275.post-89668770228364760922012-10-26T08:32:23.882-04:002012-10-26T08:32:23.882-04:00This piece today and The Wisdom of Donkeys are my...This piece today and The Wisdom of Donkeys are my two favorites so far. I knew a donkey foal who was very naughty last summer, he had been handled a lot to get him used to all sorts of things but he had no respect for humans and would always be jumping up at them! I wonder what he is like these days!Laurahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13595833485081969708noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1432762024762532275.post-36254457995280029022012-10-26T00:43:14.072-04:002012-10-26T00:43:14.072-04:00Funny you should mention that...I just made his ap...Funny you should mention that...I just made his appointment this afternoon:)The Dancing Donkeyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16274299120708749101noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1432762024762532275.post-71685496027236819712012-10-25T21:48:32.441-04:002012-10-25T21:48:32.441-04:00Has Ramsey been "fixed"? I have been reading some horror stories about Jacks and their unpredictable behaviour when they sense jennies (or humans) are in the right time of the month.IanHhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15874490886311041312noreply@blogger.com
